of Being Seen
From Shrinking to Worthiness
Summer Registration Is Open Now

"I've found my authentic voice. I trust my intuition far more now and this has almost extinguished my need for outside validation."
Ginny J.
"Came in quite anxious and unsettled; now operating from a place of alignment. I feel centered in myself, yet also a part of the whole."
Ella R.
"So many triggers don't affect me as severely as they used to, and ironically, I'm also more comfortable with silence."
Kim R.
The Invitation
What if the parts of you that have stayed quietest the longest are not asking to be fixed? They are asking to be seen.
The selves you tucked away to be loved. The longings you stopped naming so you would not have to feel the ache of them. The version of you that knows what you actually want and has been waiting for permission to be in the room.
We learn early which parts of us were welcome, and which parts were not. We become very good at hiding the unwelcome ones. Over time we forget they are even there, until something in life rises up and the old self-protection comes back in full.
Inside Beautiful Souls this summer, we are letting those parts back into our own seeing. Not to fix them. Not to become someone new. To meet them. To witness them. To let them know they are not exiled anymore.
This is the practice of being seen. It begins with you, and the slow, real work of letting yourself be visible to your own gaze first.
About Joel
Joel Cross
Joel Cross is a Grammy-nominated musician, consciousness teacher and the founder of Beautiful Souls Community. He integrates the science of perception with ancient wisdom traditions: meditation, sound healing, somatic practice and the R.I.S.E. framework. All of it built into a daily rhythm designed to help you come home to yourself.
The Season Curriculum
The Two Movements
Movement 1: Weeks 1โ4
Becoming Visible to Yourself
The interior ground. Letting the parts of yourself you have kept out of view come back into your own seeing, without the project of fixing.
Week 1: The First Mirror. How You First Learned What It Meant to Be Seen
Primary attachment. The eyes you first practiced being seen through. The shape of seen, and the shape of unseen, both still living quietly inside you.
Week 2: The Selves You Tucked Away
The parts you learned to hide to be loved, to stay safe, to keep the peace. They are not gone. They are waiting for you to come back for them.
Week 3: Seen, Not Solved
Receiving yourself as you are without the reflex to repair, improve or become someone else first. Witness, not project.
Week 4: Personal Presence
Staying present with your own gaze when the impulse is to turn from what you see. The practice is the staying.
Integration (Weeks 5โ6): Meeting Yourself Softly. The interior work settles before the outward practice begins.
Movement 2: Weeks 7โ10
Becoming Visible to Life
The outward practice. The felt experience of being present to, and present with, others and the living field around you.
Week 7: The Longing to Be Known
The quiet hunger underneath the hiding, honored as sacred rather than solved. The longing is the door.
Week 8: What the Body Knows About Being Seen
The somatic experience of being witnessed. What the body does when another pair of eyes is in the room.
Week 9: Play as Visibility
Joy, playfulness and the unguarded self as a form of showing up. The lightness you stopped trusting, returning.
Week 10: Taking Up Space
The permission to be a full-sized person in your own life. Not louder. Not more. Just present at your real size.
Integration (Weeks 11โ12): At Home in Being Seen. Fall registration opens inside this window, so new arrivals meet the softer weeks first.
Autumn Equinox Closing (Week 13). The season lands. The threshold to fall.
The Weekly Rhythm of Transformation
The Beautiful Souls Community's daily 30-minute practice follows a consistent weekly rhythm, guiding members through different modalities to create a reliable structure for personal growth.
Arrive & Explore
Begin the week with guided meditation to establish presence and deepen into the weekly theme.
Embody
Integrate the teaching into the body through somatic practices like Yoga or Qigong.
Reflect
Process insights and make the theme personal through guided journaling and written inquiry.
Claim
Anchor the week's transformation through mantra and affirmation work, declaring your truth.
Integrate & Release
Settle in with silent contemplation, share in community circles, and reset with a healing sound bath.
"The practice isn't about becoming someone new. It's about coming home to who you've always been."
โ Joel Cross
In Their Own Words
Daily morning meditations with the Beautiful Souls community are truly the highlight of my day. Joel is a legit artist whose music amplifies the beauty and sound of his soul. The humans he attracts through this community are some of the kindest, wisest, and most resonant souls I've yet met.
Joel's meditation community has become a sacred anchor in my daily life. His soulful music and guided practices invite a deeper presence and connection to myself โ reminding me to come home, again and again, through mindfulness, insight, and somatic stillness.
Being a part of this community has truly impacted every area of my life in the most beautiful ways. It has helped me remember on a soul level my worth and wholeness. The skills I have learned and cultivated are truly priceless.
Since I have found Joel I can cope with my life and past a lot better. He is probably the only person who has helped me this much to heal.

Summer 2026 Timeline
You don't need to have "done the work" to begin.
You start where you are. That's always been enough.
From the parts you tucked away, to the parts that long to be met.
Coming home to being seen.
Summer registration is open now through June 19.

Everything You Need to Know
We gather every morning from 7:30โ8:00 AM Central Time, seven days a week. Each session is 30 minutes. Short enough to fit into your morning, deep enough to shift your day.
Life happens, and we get it. All sessions are recorded and available in the Community Archive. You can access past meditations, workshops, and sound baths anytime at your own pace while still feeling held by the collective energy of our practice.
Monday and Tuesday are guided meditation. Wednesday is somatic practice, alternating between Qigong and Yoga. Thursday is guided journaling. Friday is affirmation and mantra work. Saturday includes silent contemplation plus a sharing circle or workshop at 9 AM Central. Sunday is a healing sound bath.
Saturday Sharing Circles (9:00โ10:00 AM Central) are intimate group coaching sessions where members reflect and share openly. Monthly workshops are deeper dives taught by Joel, the BSC team and community members with specialized expertise. Typically the second Saturday of each month.
Our private social network includes a Chat Circle for open conversation, direct messaging to connect one-on-one, and Meetups to see the full event schedule. Many members say the relationships formed here are among the most meaningful in their lives.
